going to narayan’s in a while for studying. got exam tomorrow

The world just witnessed Nepal successfully holding the CA elections. The speculators had expected that the two bigger parties(NC and UML) would win and the Maoists would win a few seats. But the results were just the opposite. The Maoists lead the poll results. As I write this they have already won 113 seats, Nepali Congress 32 and UML 27 seats.These results will remain in the history as one of the major and important wins by a party.

At the time when the so-called analysts were forecasting that the Maoists would just win a few seats and their identities will be lost in future, they have shown that they are here to stay longer and forever actually.

Today I heard people saying that this win was just a fluke. But I say it was in no way a fluke. If it was a fluke, how come it happened in all parts of the country.Maoists have won in almost all the districts of Nepal. How can it be a fluke if the same thing is happening everywhere. People from all over the country have voted for the Maoists. They want the Maoists to rule and create the constitution of Nepal. People have spoken out their minds. They have chosen the Maoists to make a constitution that will pave the path for their future and of their children. People have supported the Maoists with a huge majority. They’ve recieved a overwhelming support from the people. That is why I don’t think the CA Polls’ result was a fluke.

They did it. They’ve shown that “Change can Happen”. I think the one thing that worked the most was their slogan “Sabailai Heryau Patak Patak, Maobadi lai Herau Ek Patak”. This very slogan of theirs’ which helped them win the historic CA Elections, now stays in front of them as a huge challange. Yespatak janata le Maobadi lai herna chaheka chhan. They have to keep up their promises. Will they be able to live up to the people’s expectations? K yespatak kehi farak hunchha sadhai vanda?Or yespatak pani harek patak jastai “Jun Jogi aayepani………………………..” hunchha?

Lets hope they live up to the people’s expectations and deliver the people that’s promised. I wish them all the luck.
